LASIK:

Permanent correction for short sight, long sight and astigmatism using eximer laser. It is an out patient procedure, with out injection, done on both eyes same day. No bandaging is required.

LASIK is being done with ALEGRETO wavelight Technology with advanced micro keratome. Assessment is done using corneal topography, pachymetry and wave front aberrometer. 

Epilasik and lasek are usually done for -1 to -5 diaptors. Lasik is generally is recommended to -1 to – 10 diaptors and +1 to +5 diaptors. 

Keratoplasty or corneal grafting: To treat people with corneal blindness. At sunayana we perform different types of Keratoplasty like DLEK for Keratoconus, DSEK for corneal endothelial problems, and Full thickness penetrating Keratoplasty for total corneal replacement using donor eye ball.

Keratoplasty is being done with vacuum trephines and Teflon punch under strict aseptic condition. Sunayana is coordinating with other eye banks in the city to improve the eye donation programmes
