Dr.K.Y.N Murthy is a dynamic professional in the field of Ophthalmology. His vision and concern has contributed to his success as an outstanding ophthalmic surgeon. He has completed his MBBS in 1983 from B.M.C and thereon did his M.S in Ophthalmology in Minto Eye Hospital, Bangalore. He is also a diplomate of national board ,national board of examination (ophth), India 

After masters Degree he underwent highly professional and rigorous training in reputed national level ophthalmology centers.

Dr. Murthy started Sunayana Eye Clinic and Surgical Centre in 1992 in a small scale in Jayanagar 4th T Block. Since then it has grown to a great height and with a changed name “Sunayana Eye Hospital shifted to a well equipped, spacious, own building in the same locality. This Hospital is the dream project of his vision, dedication, hard work and sincere service.
Dr Murthy an excellent, successful and experienced surgeon. . He has done several thousands IOL surgeries and hundreds of  Keroto-plasty,  since the past 20 years. Dr K.Y.N Murthy is a leading ophthalmic surgeon in Karnataka state.Presenting papers on recent advancement in the field of ophthalmology at national and international seminars and talks in Doordarshan and AIR are examples of his broad and inquisitive perspective.
